$60 Now $30 Cave-in-Rock, Cave-in-Rock Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois Small cabinet - 9.1 x 7.3 x 5.2 cm 306 grams Fluorescent (SW) Specimen status: Available Send an email with specimen number to order A superb mound of sparkling white and
opaque opaque barite crystals, with the largest crystals
reaching 3.7 cm. Creamy white fluorescence under shortwave
UV. A roughly triangular depression in the back suggests
this formed over scalenohedral calcite, with subsequent
dissolution of the calcite (i.e. it is an epimorph).
Excellent condition, and self-standing.
