A translucent mass of compact and somewhat silky ulexite fibers, very typical for the species/locality. This sample was sawn on both the top and bottom in an effort to make fiber optic 'TV stone', but the ends were not polished. Despite its rough form, light transmission between the base and top is still very efficient; a simple polish (ulexite is soft) would improve this.
