Several translucent to transparent, tabular green (meta)zeunerite crystals (some complete; others not) with associated gray scorodite on matrix. Zeunerite, a hydrous copper uranyl arsenate - Cu(UO2)2(AsO4)2·12H2O readily loses for molecules of water to form metazeunerite - Cu(UO2)2(AsO4)2·8H2O. These minerals cannot be distinguished visually (and are likely both present in the same crystal); hence the name '(meta)zeunerite.' Weakly radioactive due to the uranium content. Best appreciated under magnification - hand lens, microscope or camera lens.
