A crude, partially yellow and 3.3 cm
long sturmanite crystal sits atop a matrix rich with
abundant, small but sharp and sparkly hausmannite
crystals. Modestly abundant, translucent cubic calcite
crystals to a few mm is also seen. Portions of the matrix
are also covered with carpets of microcrystalline
andradite.
