An oddball tourmaline crystal, pink and green, opaque, and double terminated. One termination appears to be a partially healed natural break while the other consists of a sloping crater occupied by numerous, tiny terminations. Must be seen to be appreciated. Also evident are several light colored (almost white) zones; these are a result of regrowth after fracture caused by violent pocket rupture (most likely not by tectonic activity, as is sometimes said); this phenomenon is more evident on Himalaya Mine tourmaline than perhaps any other global locality.
