An opaque and brown parisite-(Ce) crystal with tapered but rough (contacted) form. Parisite-(Ce) is a calcium cerium fluorocarbonate - CaCe2(CO3)3F2. This sample's radioactivity is caused by partial substitution of thorium (or maybe uranium) for cerium. An ugly yet representative sample for the species/locality.
