Three goethite replacements of siderite to 1.2 cm sit together on a matrix of massive to crystalline microcline. That goethite has replaced tabular (compressed rhombohedral) siderite and not the usual blockier rhombohedral siderite is unusual; of the 240 Colorado goethite photos shown on Mindat, none show this form. Rising on one side of the microcline matrix is a 3.0 cm Carlsbad twin. Over condition is quite nice.
