Opaque but glassy calcite rhombs on a thin limonite matrix. Excellent condition. The locality is better known for mimetite, with calcite being either rare or just ignored. Of the 119 mineral specimen photos at Mindat for this locality, the few which include calcite show it only as a minor, accessory to mimetite. This specimen is a far superior calcite example compared to the Mindat specimens.
