A surprisingly heavy, partial
cassiterite crystal. This specimen is notable mostly for
its size or as an ore sample more visually appealing than
most ore samples of this species. Cassiterite has a
specific gravity of 7.0, due (most probably) to short
tin-oxygen bonds.
