Terminated danburite crystals rise to about 2 cm above a massive calcite matrix. These danburites range from translucent to gemmy, and most have a partial coating of calcite. Massive to crystalline chalcopyrite and pyrite dot the matrix. The calcites atop the danburites fluoresce red under shortwave UV. Some of the danburites exhibit a green glow under both shortwave and longwave UV. Some of the danburite terminations are missing but overall condition is good.
