A pocket in a matrix of massive cinnamon brown grossular and green actinolite is lined with crystalline grossular to 1.1 cm and several ill-formed, translucent quartz crystals, these rendered light green by actinolite inclusions. A typical skarn association, and most likely etched out of enclosing calcite. Fine condition and self standing for display.
