Abundant, brassy marcasite crystals to
a few mm, associated with less abundant but larger,
iridescent chalcopyrite crystals scattered about on
matrix. Marcasite has a reputation of being unstable,
releasing sulfurous odors and disintegrating as it decays.
However this sample has no objectionable odor or other
signs of decay.
