A well-cut agate slice having gray to
brown inclusions. 'Moss agate' is named after green
inclusions resembling moss. While this specimen is labeled
as moss agate by a previous dealer label, the shape and
color of this specimen's inclusions look less like moss
and more like algae and related pond scum.
