33209: Hematite replacing Siderite on
Smoky Quartz - $20 Lake George area, Park County, Colorado Small cabinet - 7.7 x 3.3 x 1.8 cm 29 grams Specimen status: Available Send an email with specimen number to order A cluster of hematite, some clearly
retaining the shape of the siderite it has replaced,
perched along the thin edge of a tabular, lightly smoky
quartz crystal. This quartz is terminated at the pointy
end, while the blunt end appears to be a healed break.
Overall condition is quite nice.
