A spray of brightly lustrous stibnite crystals, coated on one side with dull, microcrystalline marcasite. Most of the individual stibnite crystals are terminated. Carries two Richard A. Kosnar labels (dating the specimen to the 1970's), both giving the locality as the nearby Socavón Mine. However at the Mindat mineral list for this locality, stibnite is crossed out and it is noted that the dumps were 'improved' with material from the nearby San José Mine. A second Kosnar label gives the locality as the San Pablo de Churina Mine, Chayanta Province, but Mindat lacks a locality by this name in that province.
