Medium blue aquamarine grains abundant in a granite matrix. Under magnification, the grains are seen to be aligned, as if they were trying to form elongated crystals. Interesting enough for a federally-reserved rock hound locality noted for its aquamarine (and spectacular scenery as well...most collection is at ~10,000 foot elevation). Under shortwave UV, the fluorapatite is revealed as scattered but bright yellow grains.
