Abundant and lustrous, brown mimetite
with a curved crystal habit (variety campylite) from the
locality most famous (and most prolific) for this habit.
On a massive quartz matrix, with a partial black coating
of manganese hydroxides/oxides. The coating provides a
nice contrast, but it can be partially to completely
removed by chemical treatment if desired. Nice condition.
