Perhaps hard to tell from these photos, but this is a fairly large, light brown topaz crystal. Natural etching has distorted the characteristic topaz crystal shape, but its heft (specific gravity), etch morphology and glassiness give it away. Opaque to translucent in some spots; gemmy and transparent in others. Some areas glow bright green white under shortwave ultraviolet light. No damage. Self standing.
