Moderately abundant crusts of green celadonite on a vesicular basalt matrix. Celadonite, a potassium magnesium iron phyllosilicate - K(MgFe3+)(Si4O10)(OH)2 is often overlooked in all but the most rigorous, systematic mineral collections as "that mossy looking stuff from India or Brazil". A good representative example of this maligned mineral species, very typical for the species/locality.
