Light golden brown stibiotantalite crystals to almost 5 mm moderately abundant on a terminated, lightly smoky quartz crystal. The stibiotantalites are mostly incomplete, so this is a representative specimen for the species/locality. Stibiotantalite is a simple antimony tantalum niobium oxide - Sb(Ta,Nb)O4, for which the Himalaya Mine is a premier locality. The quartz crystal is complete all around - including the base which appears to have a healed (recrystallized) base.
