A (mostly) water clear gypsum crystal. Although the term 'selenite' is used (abused) more than deserved - it should only be applied to transparent, colorless gypsum - this specimen deserves the moniker. Nice condition. Currently unmounted but fits perfectly into a standard 'Perkie' thumbnail box which you can order here. Get a clear acrylic base which fits inside the Perkie while you're at it!
