A translucent to opaque, doubly terminated (!!) hydroxylherdite crystal hosts a small but doubly terminated, dark blue green tourmaline crystal. Mindat hosts 16 photos of hydroxyherderite from this locality, but only two show an association with tourmaline. The nice association specimen - especially for this locality - is in excellent condition. Currently unmounted; add a 'Perkie' thumbnail box with matching acrylic base to protect your new treasure. Ex Robert Bartsch.
