Mounds of light tan thomsonite on a basalt matrix. Where cleaved along the edges, we can see the thomsonite is composed of nearly parallel needles. Sparkling, translucent to gemmy calcite are abundant on the thomsonite surface. These calcite reach 4 mm. A little contact near the edge of the main face, otherwise very nice condition. Displays nicely on its naturally flat basalt base.
