A 3.1 cm, translucent and doubly terminated calcite crystal is perched on a matrix composed of dark, lustrous crystalline sphalerite, some galena (mostly cleaved), small pyrite cubes which may be a replacement of another mineral plus small quartz points. The calcite displays modest red fluorescence under both longwave and shortwave UV. Lots to see under magnification. Sits well for display. Livelier - more sparkle - than my lousy pictures suggest.
