From a locality better known for
superb smithsonite comes a specimen featuring translucent
scalenohedral calcite crystals to 1 cm abundant on matrix.
Most are terminated; a few - mostly around the edges - are
not. Stunningly brilliant orange red fluorescence under
shortwave UV.
