32590: Tourmaline, Microcline and Quartz -
$50 Golconda pegmatite field, Golconda, Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, Brazil Small cabinet - 8.2 x 5.7 x 2.5 cm 94 grams Specimen status: Available Send an email with specimen number to order Abundant tourmaline crystals - mostly
black and many incomplete - cover all faces of a matrix
composed of tiny microcline crystals. These tourmalines
reach about 1.3 in length. A single 1.4 cm quartz crystal
is also seen. The matrix is curved, and its overall shape
hints that it may be a pseudomorph after spodumene.
