A cluster of translucent to transparent gypsum crystals, most being doubly terminated. The locality given on a previous label is Al-Kabir, Egypt, but I cannot find any information on this. Currently mounted on a styrofoam base in a standard plastic 'Perkie' thumbnail box. Could be dismounted but I would have concerns about the specimen's fragility. Despite gypsum's softness and propensity to bend and cleave, this sample is in superb condition.
