Glassy olive green epidote and dark
green andradite crystals sit on a contrasting feldspar
(probably orthoclase) matrix. Also present are two pyrite
crystals (to about 8 mm) that have been replaced by
goethite (they are pseudomorphs). Many of the epidote and
andradite crystals are complete. An unusual association
for the locality.
