A spiral gastropod fossil, partially
to completely but faithfully replaced by translucent to
opaque gypsum. Excellent condition. On a global scale,
gypsum replacements of fossils are rare; of the 7370 gypsum
photos hosted at Mindat, only four are obvious
fossil replacements (and all from the Broken Cliffs
locality). This example is in superb condition.
