Opaque, micaceous (meta)zeunerite crystals to about 4 mm moderately abundant on matrix. Zeunerite - Cu(UO2)2(AsO4)2·12H2O readily loses four molecules of water to the atmosphere to form zeunerite - Cu(UO2)2(AsO4)2·8H2O. These copper uranyl arsenate hydrates cannot be distinguished visually, so in the absence of chemical analysis we cannot know if this is zeunerite or metazeunerite. Platy chalcophyllite and massive chrysocolla may be present as unverified blue green, massive to crystalline minerals. Weakly radioactive due to its uranium content.
